Italy did not enter the war until 10 Jun 40 so this is a rare example of trying to use a neutral country & intermediary to communicate with an enemy or enemy occupied country outside of the proper channels & can therefore be classified as Undercover mail i.e. mail that does not show the true destination..

Ministro Ramos Mexia is a small growing town with a population of 583 (1991) growing to 973 (2010) It was fairly common for school girls to write to soldiers to give support but many of these were not well versed in the art of writing. The Falkands War commenced with the Argentine invasion on 2 April & ended 74 days later with the surrender of the Argentine forces on 14 June.
