Ship / No Charge to be made & with lozenge PASSED / BY / CENSOR / 0240 with Crown in centre, A known censor mark used by R.M.L.I. forces on Mudros …….Obviously an attempt to find him but sadly he had been transferred over 2 years previously to HMS Defence prior to the battle of Jutland where he died on 31 May 1916 when HMS was sunk with all hands lost.
