1943(Jul 22)It was 8 months before prisoners were allowed to send a a second card & these in most cases that are dated have dates in late February 1943 & all cards seen are censored by Shimogabara. This card from 5/271540 Pte G. Binfield is an exception & dated much later on 22 July 1943 ..This item is illustrated on page 212 of Vol 1 of Tetts wonderful series of books on this subject..
