1918 (Sep 26) Stampless PPC of Bridge looking towards City to Mrs Norris at Gonville, Wanganui, N.Z. from her Husband cancelled APO S.100 (29 Sep) located at Taranto & recorded from Mar 1917 – Nov 1919 & with violet Shield Censor 382 (type CM8) ….I am unable to find any trace of New Zealand soldiers serving in Italy during WW1. However it is known that soldiers mail serving on Military Missions or Occupation duties outside of Italy was serviced in transit at Taranto by APO S.100
