1943(May 4) Airmail envelope to Aarau, Switzerland bearing 3 x 5c Airs, 1c & 3c tied mute 5 line straight lines & Tombador Group of Companies handstamp of origin. dated 18 May with envelope endorsed New York, Lisbon, Switzerland. Initially cancelled on reverse Correos de Guatemala (4 May) slogan so it appears some delay has occured (perhaps due to short payment for air to destination) & with AFFRANCHI PAR AVION JUSQU’A / NEW YORK. Censored in USA twice with transparent reclosing tape 3753 & on opposite side 6116, then British with Examiner 5,518 label partly overlaid by German code X label in Paris…A very visual & attractive Jusqu’a 4 time censored cover
