Madras N.I., Port Blair presumably carried by hand …………From 1776 the 15th Carnatic Battalion had over a period of years several changes in designation becoming 15th Madras Native Infantry in 1824 to 1885 when the Native was dropped thus dating this env in the period 1824-1885
