Sandbach up rated with additional India 4½a cancelled in transit by Cantonment/Rangoon (10 Dec) duplex & with on reverse Rangoon (10 Dec) thimble cds + Bombay (16 Dec) transit cds……”I believe it is near Minbu, that the great leader Hla oo is, perhaps I may be chasing him soon …..My orders at Rangoon were for Minbu & there I believe I take over Command of 40-50 men of the Bengal Sapper Coy” ……A fine item with mention of the infamous Dacoit leader Hla oo durng the Pacification of Upper Burma together with typed transcript of letter & map of the Irrawaddy river area
