1895(Oct 23)[23.10.28] Plain longer envelope c/w letter detailing some Japanese merchants selling goods at very high prices & this countered by Store Dept. of 18th Infantry Regt seling low to the dislike of bad merchants plus rumours of returning or maybe going Taiwan addressed to Kashiwabara , Tanba from Umegoro Tani, 2nd Engineer Company 4th Battalion., 4th Division at Fanweng-Zhang Barracks carried by hand to Moriyama with 25th Anniv of Royal marraige 2 sen affixed & cancelled vernacular Moriyama [9 Nov] d/s with alongside vernacular Kashiwabara [11 Nov] arrival d/s………….A fine item from Japanese occupied Liatung peninsular during this war with mail carried outside of the Field Post system
