1897(Dec 16) East India ¼ anna Post Card with severe vertical crease to Akyab cancelled 95% FIELD P.O. No 40 cds & with AKYAB (24 Dec) arrival cds with on reverse datelined Swai Kol 16/12/97 Arrived Yesterday….Despite bad crease a very rare item on 3 Sept 1897 the Order was given to form the Tirah F.F., 20 Oct Dargai in Khanki valley captured, 28 Oct main force march to Ghanaki, 12 Nov Orakzais tribe submit, 21 Nov main Camp moved to Bagh, 15 Dec reached Swai Kol seems to be between Bagh & Fort Bara towards Peshawar & is rare to find mail from here
