Squared circle & on reverse Krugersdorp/Z.A.R. (29 Dec) arrival cds……..At the start of hostilities with Colesberg being close to the border of the Orange Free State the boers breached the border & occupied part of C.O.G.H. including Coleberg which was occupied from November 1899 until 28 Feb 1900..Mail from this short approx 3 month period of occupation is rare..
