1900(Apr 17) envelope with some foxing bearing Natal 2 x 1d & single ½d tied Durban cds to Delagoa Bay (P.E.A.) with Boer reclosing label (Type 3). Re-directed on arrival (30 Apr) to Vrede O.R.S. via Pretoria (2 May) & Johannesburg (4 May) arriving Vrede (5 May). En-route it was censored by the Boers with reclosing label (Type 3) & also the British who applied British label (Type 2A) & with on reverse Blue Lourenco Marques (30 Apr), Pretoria / Z.A.R. (2 May ) Johannesburg (4 May) very scarce octagonal Vrede O.F.S. (5 May) …Despite foxing which can be removed a scarce & desirable item..
