1905-06 Group 9 PPC first shows the former battleship the others showing various activities of the Naval crew whilst on Royal Tour. The vessel underwent a re-fit in Feb 1905 as a Royal Yacht in October she sailed for Genoa, Italy to pick up the Prince & Princess of Wales (later to become King GV & Queen Mary) to embark on a Royal Tour of India.The 9 cards addressed to same person in Birmingham between 16 Dec 1905 to 8 Feb 1906 & all bear India EDVII 1a tied Murree except the last one that is Amballa cds, 7 with additional Sea Post Office & two with Bombay transit cds…….Renown & the Royals left Karachi 23 Mar 1906 arriving Portsmouth 7 May
