1905 (Feb)[38.2.4.] Japanese lettersheet marked Military Mail to Japan from Japanese 3rd Army soldier in Manchuria cancelled vernacular 3rd Army FPO No 3 which opened on this day………..In preparatiion for the “Battle of Mukden” the Japanese established a military line from Tu-tai-tse eastwards to Benia-pu-tse with the 3rd Army HQ at Yen-tai just behind this line
