1905 (Feb)[38.2.3.] Pictorial Military lettersheet showing “Crossed Flags” to Japan sent during preparations for “Battle of Mukden” from Japanese 2nd Army soldier in Manchuria cancelled vernacular 2nd Army FPO No 3 cds & with on reverse two + another partial vernacular transit cds………..In preparatiion for the “Battle of Mukden” the Japanese established a military line from Tu-tai-tse eastwards to Benia-pu-tse with the 3rd Army HQ at Yen-tai just behind this line
