This war commenced 12 Jan 1904 the result of disgruntlement among the indiginous tribes people & Samuel Maharero the chief of the Hottentot tribe killling123 German soldiers & settlers near Okahandjar & initially with Germany only having 766 troops the upper hand was with the tribesmen until Germany drafted in 14,000 additional troops under General Von Trotha who was completely & utterly ruthless & had by Mar 1908 virtually destroyed the indiginous tribes people.
