The Mohmands had been causing problems since 1906 & border Posts were strengthened giving rise to two Mullahs to preach “Jehad” or Holy war against the infidel in mid April, to counteract this troops were moved forward from Peshawar & on the 26th April a Field Force was ordered & formed….
