1915(Jul 11) Coloured PPC of Malta to Tooting, London, cancelled double ring FPO 40 cds dated 11 June (one is wrong) recorded used at Cape Helles (13.7.15) – 4. 8. 15 with message stating writer is still well & still on the boat & disembarking soon making me believe the month slug of the cds has been mistakenly inserted & the date is actually 11 July. The card has a partial red framed square Censor 2766 (CM2)…Interesting short lived stay at Cape Helles of only 3 weeks before moving to Anzac Beach.
