1916(Sep 9) PPC of Norwich Cathedral bearing 1d tied Norwich machine to 27165 Pte, Bucroft, Brigade HQ, 4 Dismounted Bde. & forwarded to Force HQ Minia, then to Shusha & finally Cairo carrying FPO WBY (27 Sep) cds of 4 Dismounted Bde., FPO 6Y (27 Sep) of 6 Mounted Bde at Minia then again to FPO 6Y ? cds (29 Sep) before being despatched to the Civil office in Cairo (30 Sep) cds on face & presumably Returned to Sender… Some elements of theEgyptian Exped. Force were moved around, constantly on the move & post officialsoften lost track of them.
