1916 (Nov 2) Plain stampless envelope to Douglas I.O.M. from Bandsman Morley 25th Middlesex Regt. with Opened By /Censor /5606 (Mark type 5) & with violet oval War /Postal /Censor /Office (Mark HS 3) …… 25th Middlesex Regt. moved to Plymouth 12 Dec 16 & sailed on HMT “Tyndareus” for Hong Kong, hit a German mine off Cape Agulhas, South Africa 6 Feb 17 with all lives saved. After arriving Hong Kong the Battalion was transfered to Vladivostok arriving in Aug 18 & returned to the UK in Sept 19
