Rothwell, 45th Training Reserve Battalion, Southern Command School of Instruction, Jellalabad Barracks, Tidworth Wilts bearing pair GV ½d tied Swanage Camp B.O./Poole (23 Nov) cds & with manuscript enclosure to O/C 45th Training Reserve Battn. I am directed to inform you that the enclosed letter (not present) has been received from L/Cpl. Rothwell No 24242 & to request he be informed that no photographs may be sent to neutral countries by private persons. For your information I am also to enclose a copy of the regulations (Present) & headed Strand Ho. Portugal Street, London W.C from Chief Postal Censor together with Army Form C. 348 Memorandum (1180) Wt. W 429/M 438. 7,500m 5/16. P.P. Ltd. toD. 4 Camp Swanage (Nov 28) from O/C “H” Coy, 45th Training Res. Batt., to 24242 L/Cpl Rothwell A reply has been received by the C.O. with reference to yur letter of 15th Instant to the war Office.
