1918(Mar 24) GB O.H.M.S. envelope badly Water Stained to Hitchin, Herts cancelled scarce FPO D.M.2 cds & believed to be from the torpedoed S.S. Kingstonian but without cachets which was sailing with men, equipment & supplies including a large quantity of mail loaded from Palestine & Egypt that was on 11 April torpedoed & limped into Carlo Forte Bay, S. Pietro Is. off Sardinia beached herself & salvaged what was possible but the vessel was doomed.
