1918 Picture postcard of Moulin Sur Le Fleuve de Oggea addressed to St. Louis MO, USA & cancelled by favour bearing Italian Red Cross 15 + 5c & E.E.F. 2m both tied by red 38mm circular Distaccahimento Italiano di Palestina / COMANDO & with framed VERIFICATO /PER CENSURA & unframed CENSORE No 1 probably enclosed in a separate envelope & not postally used yet attractive….An Italian detachment of 500 was formed in Naples on 1 May 1917 & embarked 6 May reaching Port Said, Egypt on 10th where a Base was formed to serve the troops moving forward who reached Rafa, Palestine between 13th – 15th June 1917
