1918 (Nov 6) Plain stampless envelope to Markham, Ontario cancelled faint but readable FPO PB 44 cds located at Bakhariza & with oval X61 Censor hand stamp countersigned below ”Saunders” & with on back Markham (17 Dec) arrival cds…..Most Canadian forces during the intervention period in Russia were stationed in Siberia however 600 Canadians were sent to North Russia with only a couple of covers recorded cancelled at Field Post Office PB 44 & this dated 6.11.18 is the earliest recorded………..Chioce & rare item
