Hazelhurst Field , Mineola datelined Tues Nov 12 detailing all being granted permission of Liberty Leave from 2.30 Monday afternoon & goes on in graphic detail to describe the drunken celebrations including the Sargeant & Corporal last seen at 0320 am with a wheel barrow & a ½ barrel of beer & with half the company still away from Camp as he write’s bearing Washington 3c tied New York 1/N.Y machine date stamp ……………….carelessly opened right side but a marvelous letter detailing the historic and momentuous end to the Great War
