1919 (Apr 23) Belgian 10c Stationary card to Wagons Lits, Cologne & forwarded to French Mission, Dumhof cancelled Liege & with unframed black A Distribue + violet 197 & Censure Militaire hand stamps …French occupation of Germany occurred from 6 April to 17 May 1920. On the second day nine civilians were shot by Moroccan troops in an incident & thisw as used to launch a racist campaign against the French use of colonial troops.
