1920 (Jan 16 ) Picture postcard showing ancient ruins with mountains in background bearing 1919 Bulgarian pair 10 st Overprinted THRACE INTERALLIEE tied bi-lingual Dumurdjina cds…..Dumurdjia (Dumurdaha) is a small rural Albanian village… At the end of the Balkan war 1912-13 the area became part of Bulgaria & remained so until the end of WW1. At this point with Bulgaria defeated part of the surrender agreement stipulated that Bulgaria vacate from Western Thrace while “inter-allied” forces assumed control.
