1935 (Apr 3) Printed Klein, Weiss & Co. / Saarbrucken printed envelope with vertical crease & backflap gone to Oberursel (Taunus)bearing German Soldier 12pf tied by special slogan showing unification Music for the Germany / Saar Plebiscite. After WW1 had separated Saar from Germany it was administered by the League of Nations for 15 years. A referendum on 13 Jan 1935 was called & Saar population overwhelmingly elected for re-unification with Germany..Prior to & afterwards an International military force from Sweden, Great Britain, Italy & Netherlands were present as a Peace keepers.
