1940 (Nov 5) Printed Ala Littoria airmail envelope with airmail etiquette deleted, enclosed letter & address panel all written in faint hard to read pale green ink to a soldier at Posta Militare 23 bearing Poste Italiane Eritrea 50c tied Addis Abeba / Telegrafo cds with another strike alongside. Envelope re-directed twice with blue crayon one of which is eleted with red crayon. Bottom left under Verificato /Per Censura label is Posta Militare No. 23 /A.O.I. (16 Nov) cds & on reverse another strike dated 4 Dec alongside & tying Censor label Dire Daua arrival (19 Dec) cds & small violet framed EO /CENSORE No. 5 ……….An interesting & scarce item written a couple months prior to the Allied advance
