1941 (Apr 30) Plain envelope to Mr. Leslie Holland, Prisoner of War, Addis Abeba, Africa Orientale Italiano bearing GB GV1 dark colours 2½d tied Glasgow datestamp overstruck by London (6 Jun) datestamp & with PC 90 OPENED BY EXAMINER 5,544 label partly overlaid by VERIFICATO PER CENSURA label & with blue 132 over 1 handstamp….A remarkable cover. The Italians did not enter the war until 10 June 1940 & very few British civilian Internees were taken in Ethiopia.
