1942 (Jul 15) Plain envelope badly opened on reverse by airmail to Wallasey, Cheshire bearing ¾a, ½a, 1½a, 2½a & 1r making a 1r 5¼a rate tied Aden belted cds & with 3 overlapping strikes of red framed Wings / RAF / CENSOR / 458 (Type R10) with censors signature inserted tied by red on white PC22 OPENED BY / CENSOR label (CCSG 2) in turn tied violet framed PASSED BY CENSOR / ADEN No 4 (CCSG 1) with on reverse another but fine strike of RAF CENSOR 458 ……….An attractive & remarkable use from here with RAF CENSOR R10 / 458 not recorded by Colley in Censorship in the RAF 1918 – 1956 at the date of his latest production
