1942 (Mar 11) Belgian 1f Stationary card registered airmail to 52 Rua Terreiro do Trigo, Lisbon which was the Belgian Aid Committee with additional adhesive removed checking for hidden messages cancelled Ixelles – Elsene cds & with matching Registration label No 321 tied Koln (13 Mar) & Lisbon (13 Mar) cds & with black 34mm circular Gepruft OKW Eagle Swastika (Riemer D – 3) of the Munich censor. Endorsed along top where stamp has been removed 53 Trugnal, Hampstead NW3 & with red losenge Crown over PASSED P.85 overlaying German censor ….. Fascinating item with 1 day between Koln & Lisbon thus impossible to get to Munich so this is clearly a Munich censor device used by the Cologne office or an unrecorded Cologne censor & with Registered Airmail postcards of any description being difficult enough this is an extraordinary item of Undercover mail.
