Transport ship to Falklands islands cancelled London /Official Paid machine cancel with Crown over circle Passed By Censor /3023 h/s in violet & with manuscript Thurday July 30th 1942 date of arrival…………..A lovely letter to his wife who he clearly loves very much with mention of censors on board, can’t say much & as yet does not know where his going….one of the first letters from this correspondence & a great WW2 F.I. fore-runner
