Shea, c/o Registration of the O.E.T.A Headquarters, Mogadishu bearing Haile Selassie pair 8c & single 4c tied Addis Abeba cds & with on reverse Mogadiscio (3 Apr) arrival cds ………………………………….. Not a great deal is known about Italians taken POW during the Eritrea/Ethiopian campaign. They were initially placed into various camps in British & Italian Somaliland, Eritrea & Ethiopia however generally overcrowding, poor conditions & sanitation necessitated careful handling with many being moved to other theatres such as Egypt etc. Mail connected to these Camps is seldom encounted
