1943(Aug 8) ACF. printed stampless envelope to Sun Life Assurance Co., Montreal cancelled Krag type ARMY POST OFFICE S.C. 2 & with red 7 wavy lined OFFICIAL mark running vertically & partly overlaying RAF CENSOR (R8/233)…Unusual item Colley records R8/233 originating from Malta between 15 Jan – 12 Oct 43 this falling between these dates whilst APO S.C. 2 was the Canadian Overseas Postal Depot in the UK located Manchester 1 Oct 41 until it moved to London sometime during Aug 1943….My take on this is that it was censored in Malta marked Offical & transported via Service aircraft to UK & handled by the Canadians for forwarding to Montreal
