British Civilian Internee, Djawa Camp, Java, c/o Japanese Red Cross, Tokyo showing partial (PC90 OPENED BY) / EXAMINER 5755 label, red framed Ken’ etsuzumi (Censored) with red oval chop of Suzuki the censoring officer inserted & alongside orange square 8mm unidentified chop of another censor plus violet framed Jawa II 26983 (Java (district) 2 & POW number) followed by pencil II & 26983 directional markings with at foot ink III (indicating Camp 3) & pencil Rec’d 5/2/45 ……….Almost 15 months in transit so it appears that confusion with previous mail over his POW number remains
