1943 – 44 Group of 4 USA 6c airmail stationary envelopes all with original letters to Long Beach CA from son at MTB Base No. 7, c/o Fleet Post Office, San Francisco all cancelled various styles US Navy date stamps between 3 Nov 1943 – 21 Feb 1944 & all with circular Passed By Naval Censor hand stamps 3 in blue & last 21 Feb 1944 in black …………….MTB Base No. 7 is allocated to Samoa but from Aug 1943 – May 1944 was on the move advancing through Guadalcanal to New Britain during operation Cartwheel
