W 3078 J.D. & Co., Apsley Honour envelope endorsed “By Air to New York” cancelled Port of Spain /Trinidad cds & with violet Crown over circle Passed By Censor /No /8798 & [2] 1945 (Feb 20) A.F. W 3078 P.A. & Co. Ltd., London Honour envelope endorsed “Air Via New York” tied Newtown/Trinidad & with on reverse Port of Spain /Trinidad transit cds partly overlaid by PC90 continuous Crowns /Opened By /Examiner /2482 label with the certificate signed F. Heyman, RASC, British Army ………….A nice pair, the majority of mail seen is addressed via Field Censor (Home) and censored by the Military & in a small number of cases also by the Civil censors in Trinidad this [2] is outside of the normal being clearly Censored by the Civil authorities in the UK…perhaps because of the manuscript RASC, British Army…………2 items
