1944 (Nov 3) Scarce Special Military Air Mail Typographed thin paper Red Star postcard (JSCA MA5) to Kikuko Imai (wife), Kamigyo – Ku, Kyoto from Isoya Imai, Sato Unit 130, c/o Sasebo P.O.. located Nancowry Island of the Nicobar Islands.& with Orange circular censor chop of Kobayashi. Sato Unit was part of the Independent Mixed 37th Brigade formed on 10 Feb 1944 that served in the Anderman / Nicobar islands………Previously the writer served in Central China & mainland Burma as a member of 15th Division but was posted 37th Independent Mixed Brigade before the battles of Imphal ( March 1944)………..After the Japanese surrender the writer was sent to Rempang Island, Dutch East Indies & repatriated in June 1946
