1944(Jun)??? envelope wth verticle crease & back flap detached but present made from an old report from the Postmaster at Otele with single ring 5 May 1939 & linear A Otele to his Head Office at Douala with back flap showing scarcer Douala Direction (9 Jul 1939) cds…………..Envelope Turned & readdressed to John Holt at Douala bearing 50c Rubber Tree & 1f Free French Cross of Lorraine & tied unclear Douala cds….Although date stamp is largely illegible it is posted before the rate increase to 2f effective 1 Apr 45 & my best guess from what I can see is Jun 1944
