1944 (Mar 21)Censored envelope to Clamart (Seine) bearing Hitler head 12pf tied FELDOST /o from French Mariner aboard the Vapeur Markobrunnel that had been seized by the Germans in 1940 at Bordeaux….This 8150 ton vessel built 1915 for NDL & originally named Yang-Tse was awarded to France in 1920 as part war reparations from WW1 & re-named Markobrunner, it was in 1945 found damaged in Copenhagen returned to France & reverted to Yang-Tse.
