Censorship Section B, East Africa Command Brooklyn datestamp & with violet 37mm circular U.S. CENSORSHIP / Star /PASSED han 200dstamp (Not listed Mayo) & framed P /W EAST AFRICA 031 (Henning EAPPW 200 EA-ll) & OPENED BY / PRISONER OF WAR CENSORSHIP / EAST AFRICA COMMAND label (Henning EAPL 200/EA-V) plus pencil annotation that appears to be ? 9-1-37 & Napoli & with lighter 21 – 3 – 46 Scritto (Is this when he replied or received ?) …..Although the Broderick & Mayo book Censorship in the US during WW2 was written in 1980 it is still regarded as the bible & it is most unusual to find any marking that is not listed..
