1945 (Feb 13) Plain stampless envelope endorsed “On Active Service” to Grindley & Co., Bombay cancelled Indian F.P.O.. 82 cds located Nyaungu & with violet circular Unit Censor /G 29 hand stamp & with on reverse Bombay GPO (18 Feb) arrival cds…. Scarce Proud records the only date of use of FPO 82, located at Nyaungu on the west bank of the Irrawaddy river as 25 Feb 45 & by the 8 March it was at Meiktila. This item extends the date of known use & Proud does not price this FPO use at Nyaungu.
