Richardson Gears Pty., Ltd., Footcray, Victoria cancelled SINGAPORE cds…..Japanese formal surrender was 15 August 45, British troops entered Singapore on 5 September, the lack of available postage stamps was easily solved by announcing on17 September that until stamps were available & distributed the Post would be free.
