1945 (May 17) Airmail envelope to Waltair, Madras bearing Historical 70c (SG 407) tied Marsens cds & oddly the following day a further Peace 1f & landscapes 10c (SG 455 & 373d) added & tied Marsens (18 May) cds & with red oal O.A.T. hand stamp & black on buff Opened By/Examiner label tied unframed DHC/452 in violet & on reverse losenge Crown/Passed DHC/81 alongside large unframed DHD/114 hand stamps both in black & Waltair (6 Jul) arrival cds…………Very odd to have adhesives affixed & cancelled over two days……….the 1f Peace is a scarce stamp & rare on cover
