1945 (Apr 19) 3s Stationary card to Khun Sawangjit Apanont, House of Land Registor, Samut Prakarn from Prapai Apanont, Tamon Tok House [On Charoenkrung Road near Chao Phraya River] cancelled Bangkok cds & unusually internally censored with violet 10 within circle hand stamp & message to sister ‘This afternoon our Tanon Tok house was bombed, some places were fired but we put out the fire. The plantation was bombed with 20 bombs, fire blazed up and many trees were burning. At night the fire blazed again “J” Mr “Im” and uncle “Jit” had almost died to put out the fire, our hearts sank. But you don’t worry because no one is troubled” ……..Vertical crease but an extraordinary & historic item internally censored within Bangkok on scarce stationary
