1945 (Dec 23) Thailand 3 stg Stationary card censored to Ronnapakas, Battambang cancelled Bangkok cds & with violet 3 with circle censor + black triangular “T” hand stamps & manuscript 4 in blue crayon denoting double Deficiency………During the occupation period Thai domestic postal rates were applicable to occupied areas however in November 1945 the rate increased from 3 stg to 5stg, therefore this was correctly taxed at twice the underpaid amount…………..Rare item
