1946(Aug 19) Thai State Railway Special ticket No 74865 printed document signed by Station Master & with manuscript Charge to Thai Armed Forces with on reverse completed Instructional document to Traffic Inspector from Chumphon to Surat Thani stating particulars including crew of 4 Japanese soldiers signed by Local British Representative Sgt. Dinsty……………. The Japanese forces surrendered in August 1945, obviously those remaining became POW when allied forces landed and clearly some, probably those with special skills, were used for specialist services such as crewing the trains
