1947(Feb 6) Plain envelope together with letter to New Brunswick, NJ written by Dutch Sergeant of the Marine Vliegkamp at Morokrembangan during period of discontent & just prior to the uprising of July 1947 – Dec 1948 with green framed Air Throughout / Via Amsterdam & cancelled Batavia 107 / Marine / Ned Indie 95c meter…The Indonesians rose against there Dutch masters on 20 July 1947 yet the Dutch were swift in putting down the revolt and by Dec 1948 were once again in full control.
