1948(Apr 30) Printed airmail env registered to Tel-Aviv bearing Airs 40c & 1f tied Lugano d/s & with R/Lugano 1/992 registration label & unframed Service Postal/Suspendu h/s in black & w/on reverse Bern/Briefausgabe + Bern/Transit [both 8 May] transit d/s & Lugano 1 [8 May] arrival d/s….. This was suspended due to tensions and the imminent Arab-Israeli War of 15 May 48 – 7 January 49 & is a fine example of early suspended mail from this conflict
