Headquarters, London SW1 cancelled Field Post Offiice /790 cds & with typed Certified Official with on reverse Field Post Office /949 (11 Feb) transit cds located at Kure, Japan…………….FPO 949 was established by November 1951 in Kure as part of the support units & depots located in Japan for troops in Korea & after the armistice was signed on 27 Jul 1953 troops remained in Korea & Japan as part of BCFK British Commonwealth Forces Korea.
